Before and After: Canola Yellow Flower Fields

Many people ask me did I photoshop pictures to make them look so beautiful? My answer is always the same. Having good makeup, hair and the right outfit make a huge difference. Also, always plan ahead first. Scout the location, observe your surrounding area and think of ideas of how to incorporate your client around the location.

Below to the left is the BEFORE picture of my sister without makeup, with her hair pulled up and of course not a pretty shirt. As you can see the difference in the AFTER picture. I did not retouch her face, it’s all in the makeup. She had on a beautiful solid purple dress that contrast with the golden yellow flower fields in Lawton Oklahoma. If I were to take her picture in the pattern shirt it will look overwhelming in that yellow canola flower fields.

I personally believe everyone is beautiful with the right makeup and clothes. A good location does not make much of a difference but it will dramatically increase the beauty of the photo.
